Did your BV-area Representative vote for our schools yesterday?

The Kansas House passed SB 22 on Thursday, supporting a reckless tax break for corporations and a small fraction of wealthier individuals. Legislators voting Yes on SB 22 have thumbed their noses at the wishes of Kansas voters. The path to repairing our state from the Brownback disaster was clearly laid out by Gov. Laura Kelly, but has been disregarded by far-right legislators. Many of these legislators have complained that there’s not enough money to fund public schools adequately - but they voted for SB 22.

Remember the candidates who claimed they would support our schools? Lets see how they voted. And even more importantly, let’s remember their votes in 2020. How did your legislators vote?

Which legislators voted Yes on SB 22, AGAINST our schools? Rep. Croft Rep. Lynn Rep. Ryckman Rep. Tarwater Rep. Thomas Rep. Warren Sen. Baumgardner Sen. Denning Sen. Olson

Which legislators voted NO on SB 22, FOR our schools? Rep. Benson Rep. Holscher Rep. Kessinger Rep. Parker Sen. Skubal
