Impact of legislature's curriculum mandate
Can state legislators dictate exactly what curriculum Kansas public school districts must teach? Does this conflict with the State Board of Education’s role, and the authority of local School Boards? Nikki McDonald was elected in 2023 by the precinct committee to fill a legislative opening. She served the 2024 session and is now running for re-election. M
