Pat Proctor is WRONG for KS Secretary of State

𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗦 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

Day’s opponent is Pat Proctor, a state representative from Leavenworth. Proctor’s campaign materials won’t tell voters he 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 - especially women, it seems. He’s not publicly bragging about 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 or 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀. But secretly recorded videos make it clear that if elected, Proctor would restrict our voting rights as quickly as he could.

In 2022, Proctor was recorded complaining about “these 20 to 30 year old women...they’re all there to vote.” Proctor was referring to the August 2022 Constitutional Amendment that would have paved the way for a total abortion ban in the state with no exceptions. While Kansans overwhelmingly rejected the amendment, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱: “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲.” (𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 “𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁,” 𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 “𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.”) 

Proctor was also recorded in 2025, sharing his thoughts about elections with a private group. 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗢 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲!

***𝙑𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨***

VOTERS exercising their right to VOTE caused Proctor to complain they were “STEALING” an election. Proctor opposes most uses of mail ballots and said “If it was up to me...there wouldn’t be early voting.” Yikes.

As a KS Representative, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀, postmarked on or before Election Day, to arrive at the Election Office. (That bill passed, was vetoed by Gov. Kelly, the veto was overridden by the Republican supermajority, but the Douglas County Court blocked that recently, and the KS Supreme Court upheld their ruling. So the 3-day grace period remains in effect.)

State Senators Kellie Warren and TJ Rose also voted to eliminate the grace period, but the KS Senate is not up for election in 2026.
